Being in a relationship with a woman does not make her your property.

BUSINESSMAN GUNNED DOWN IN CHAGUANAS

Daren Anthony Mohamdally, 50, of Mohamdally Street, Joyce Road, in Chaguanas was ambushed and gunned down on Tuesday 7th October 2025.

This incident happened around 10:30pm, as the deceased arrived home.

Mohamdally was a businessman associated with OneSource Construction Company Ltd and a former Operations Manager at Super Industrial Services.

Investigations continuing.

MURDER IN LA HORQUETTA

Police are investigating the murder of a man in La Horquetta on Sunday 6th October 2025.

Officers were on patrol around 10.20 pm on Sunday, when they received a report of a man lying on the street along De Freitas Boulevard, near the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) station.

When they arrived, they found the body of a man with gunshot wounds to his head.

Crime Scene Investigators also visited the scene and found a spent .40 calibre shell, a live round of .40 calibre ammunition, and a deformed bullet. Police said the man is known only as “Shorto”.

Officers of the Region II Homicide Bureau are continuing investigations.

CHILD FATHER KILLED BOYFRIEND IN CUNUPIA

Andrew Morales, 27, of Petit Bourg was gunned down on Tuesday 7th October 2025, in Cunupia.

This incident at Marshall Trace in Cunupia.

According to reports, Morales went to the home of his girlfriend, a Venezuelan National, when he was confronted by her ex-boyfriend.

The ex-boyfriend allegedly shot Morales three times in his head.

The ex-boyfriend has a child with the girlfriend and wanted to reconcile their relationship. However, the girlfriend ended the relationship with him a few months ago due to him being physically abusive.

Morales was taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility for medical, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigations continuing.
