Music, medals, and a mission.

Eighteen young campers lit up the St Therese RC Chapel in Acono with joyful performances at the closing concert of their week-long music camp.

From steelpan to guitar, keyboard to recorder, these children didn’t just learn instruments—they learned discipline, teamwork, and faith through music.

Camp Director Rosalind Garnes, a veteran music educator and renowned Panorama judge, says the camp was a calling—and the concert was a celebration of purpose.

In the heart of Guyana’s interior, language was no barrier to faith.

The Jesus Explosion mission team, led by Fr. Ian Taylor and the Sisters of Charity, journeyed into remote villages like Hosororo, Bamboo Landing, and Sikumaca—bringing praise, prayer, and presence to communities where English is not the first language.

From worship in thatched-roof chapels to testimonies of deep personal encounter, the mission was a powerful reminder that the Gospel travels by love, not convenience.

Watch the full story of evangelization, encounter, and joy from the interior of Guyana—only on this week’s ALTOS.

What does inclusion really look like?

At St. Anthony's College-Trinidad, one student’s determination inspired a transformation.

Giovanni Renwick, who uses a wheelchair, didn’t just adjust to the system—the school adjusted for him.

From moving an entire form to the ground floor to designing a two-level ramp for lab access, this is what it means to build access with intention.

Watch the story of how one young man reshaped the way a school thinks about learning, dignity, and belonging.

History through hands-on learning.

Dozens of young people, including migrant children, visited the Lidj Yasu Omowale Emancipation Village for a day of cultural discovery, creativity, and joy.

From steelpan and African drumming to painting and storytelling, it was a powerful way to honour the legacy of our ancestors while shaping sustainable futures.

This year’s theme: Shaping Sustainable Futures through Reparatory Justice.

Watch how fun and freedom came together to educate the next generation.
