The day kicked off with action-packed, bumper-to-bumper battles. Unfortunately, Liam Bartlett’s race got off to a rough start after a puncture forced him down the order. That opened the door for Justin Wortman, Christian Hospedales, and David Coelho to break away early.

But Bartlett wasn’t done yet. In Race Two, he came back swinging, grabbing the win. Hospedales kept it steady in 2nd, while Adam Pinheiro climbed into 3rd with a strong drive. Coelho and Wortman, on the other hand, slipped back to 4th and 7th.

The season finale wrapped up with a familiar trio on the podium, Christian Hospedales 1st, Wortman 2nd, and Coelho 3rd.

Ross Vieira made his return to the grid (this time wide awake, haha), and Stuart Johnson surprised everyone with a guest appearance.

At the end of the day, Hospedales claimed Event #5, while Justin Wortman sealed the deal on the 2025 Championship title with consistent pace across the season.

Congratulations to all the drivers for delivering another unforgettable season of Mazda Miata racing, and a special shoutout to the crews and everyone behind the scenes who keep this series rolling.

Liam Bartlett heads into Event #5 of the Mazda Trinidad & Tobago CSMS sitting in a strong preliminary P2.

Just 28 points shy of the top spot, he’s well within striking distance as the season finale approaches this Sunday (September 21st).

In his debut season last year, he wrapped things up in 11th place. Fast forward to now, and he’s fighting at the front.

With consistent pace and standout performances, particularly at Event #3, Liam has proven himself as one to watch. All eyes will be on him this Sunday as he looks to turn that progress into a potential championship winning moment.

Mobil 1 Kart Racer Logan Ross continues to make his mark.

At the most recent karting event, Logan delivered a consistent drive that earned him 2nd place overall. His steady improvement this season has seen him becoming a regular on the podium, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Event #4 of the Mazda Caribbean Spec Miata Series brought plenty of action and standout performances.

At the front, it was Ryan Peyrau who once again proved unstoppable. Driving Vieira’s Miata, he put the car to full use, collecting podium finishes across the day and taking the overall win. Ryan’s experience behind the wheel continues to shine.

Don’t count out the pensioner, David Coelho. Steady all day, he turned up the heat in the final race, charging to 1st place and sealing 2nd overall. True to Justin Wortman’s words just weeks ago, David edges you when you least expect it…and he certainly did. Justin wrapped up the day in 3rd overall.

Elsewhere in the pack, Adam Pinheiro earned a well-deserved 2nd place finish in race one, while Christian Hospedales struggled to find his usual pace. A clash between him and Liam Bartlett saw Liam spinning out of contention. Brandon Singh was also standout, taking victory in race two with a brilliant defensive drive.

With more racing still to come this season, one can wonder...what tricks does the pensioner, David Coelho, still have up his sleeve?
