23rd August. 10:59am. Showers are rolling in over some areas. Highlighted is invest 99L as it is struggling to meet with further atmosphere conditions to continue development. As the potential system is falling apart for now, gusty winds it were holding in will be escaping. Thunderstorms, heavy downpours, and flooding are likely as the day progresses.

23rd August. 8:45am. Showers on the way. Many will continue to remain clear for part of the morning period as showers are developing. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely nearing midday onwards. Showers can become delayed, and heat will be extreme until showers arrive. My 1st graph highlights invest 99L. The potential system is meeting difficulties in furthering developing for now and is now at 20% chance of development in 7 days. I will continue to monitor and update.

21st August. 9:51pm. Update on the potential systems in the Atlantic Ocean. There are currently 3 tropical waves being monitored by the NHC for potential development. Disturbance 3 is at 20% chances of development within 2 to 7 days. Invest 90L is now at 60% within 7 days, and invest 99L is at 40% within 2 to 7 days.

Invest 99L has my attention as so far it keeps dipping lower than usual. I will continue to monitor and update as they proceed.

21st August. 6:54am. Showers on the way. Many areas experienced some heavy downpours, which is coming to an end for now. On my graph, disturbance 1 is highlighted as it's near enough to influence weather conditions over the islands. Some areas will remain with cloudiness and extreme heat, while others will experience isolated downpours and thunderstorms. Heavier showers are likey during the evening. Overnight showers will be developing. Gusty winds are likely from time to time as the potential system continues to develop. The chances of showers will begin to increase from today into the weekend.

20th August.1:42pm. Huge one. Hurricane Erin is now spinning at 110 mph. Category 2. Erin still has a rather broad inner core, but the eyewall appears to be reforming. The system is over warm waters and within a moist low- to mid-level air mass. The storm surge will be accompanied by large waves, leading to significant beach erosion and overwash, making some roads impassible. (NHC).
