Fire officers today returned to the scene of a house fire at Frederick Settlement, New Grant in which 40 year old Amardath Narinesingh perished on Sunday evening. His common law wife escaped unhurt.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar celebrated the season of giving at the Couva Children’s Hospital, meeting 48 children whose lives were changed this year through the Children’s Life Fund. With her Cabinet and visiting Guyanese Minister Keoma Griffith, the event brought joy, gratitude and gifts to families who continue to benefit from the fund’s lifesaving support.
