Boxing Day 🎁 is celebrated on December 26, the day after Christmas 🎄, with roots in Britain’s Victorian era 🇬🇧.

It began as a day when employers gave “Christmas boxes” 🎁 — gifts, money 💷, or leftovers — to workers and the less fortunate 🤝.

Churches also opened charity boxes ⛪, making the day about gratitude, giving, and community care ❤️.

It spread to countries with British influence, including Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean 🇹🇹🌴, the UK, Canada 🇨🇦, and Australia 🇦🇺.
