The Ethnic Jazz Club

The Ethnic Jazz Club About The Ethnic Jazz Club Co. Ltd. The Ethnic Jazz Club was formed in September 2000. University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

Under the direction of Chantal Esdelle the small company has produced recordings, radio programmes, jazz concert series’, jazz concert presentations, hosted several visiting artists programmes, and administered jazz education programmes. Recordings
In October 2010 the EJC produced Sound Connection, a live recording project, in which Caribbean Jazz Groups were able to record their material live

performances at the Cipriani Labour College by engineers from Cuba's EGREM/MUSICUBA family. Chantal Esdelle and Moyenne, Len Boogsie Sharpe, and John Arnold and the Kariwak Players were recorded in this first run of the project.

The Chantal Esdelle Caribbean Jazz Hour
Hour-long features that consist of interviews, music and updates on jazz events in the Caribbean, and Caribbean jazz musicians based in the region and abroad. Latin American jazz musicians are also featured
