Just sharing a bit of this interview from a few years ago with Danielle Dieffenthaller, who joined by Mervyn de Goeas, came on to talk about at the time their upcoming television series In Plain Sight.
It struck me both on and off set, even as she spoke about the various challenges, her undeniable passion and love for her craft and the film industry.
Another national treasure is gone. You fought hard Danielle and now you are at rest.
Thank you for your immeasurable contribution and your legacy which will live on. Sincere condolences to the Dieffenthaller family, friends, the creative industry and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May you rest in eternal peace Dani 🙏

Back then, I was behind the scenes in production. I went on his show to talk about kitchen appliances and ended up discovering my lane. Something just clicked — it felt natural, effortless, like this is where I belonged.

Fast forward to now — at A Pretty Acoustic Experience, interviewing artists and living fully in my purpose as an International Culture Journalist — I had to remind him of that moment.
