The 5th Season of Youth Space No Holds Barred A Provocative Podcast Series is here!

Here's a bit about out very first guest:
Riezo is Trini born visual and performing art. She channels through singing/song writing, dance,
fashion, literature and spoken word.
Growing up she explored artistic expression in various ways
creating copybooks and cassettes of art and music, putting on shows for her family at home,
performing at numerous competitions, such as the TT Music Festival with her Primary school choir,
including as a solo vocalist, among other activities.
At Bishop Anstey High she was a student of art,
languages and literature until A-Levels and then went on to obtain a BFA in Fashion Design at UTT,
where she graduated as Valedictorian.
Riezo spent two years as CVQ Fabric Design and Clothing and
Textiles teaching assistant at St. Joseph Secondary School during which time she released her debut
song “Queen of Carnival”. After this she immersed herself in dance, eventually joining XO Dance
Label for a brief period and has since performed with Carvalho Productions as a dancer for the
theatre productions “Local Land of Aquatica” and “Uncomplicated Commess”.
From an early young age Riezo has grappled with finding her place in Trinbagonian Society due to
her empathic nature and unique perspective. She often felt isolated and faced struggles with
depression and anxiety throughout her life.
Art has always been her irrefutable nature. Her
philosophy is that honest self-expression is both a service and a form of healing. She hopes that by
being true to herself and sharing this journey, she creates a safe space for herself and others.
Let's talk about what affects us and our understanding of it, Let's critically analyze social issues and gender issues, faced by youths, and young parents, and sustainable development for a better peaceful future for us all.
