About the Author

Shenelle De Lisle is a dedicated primary school teacher with over 11 years of teaching experience. She is extremely passionate about reading and literacy in young children, so she created a Penmanship book that encompasses many aspects of literacy while including the culture of Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2010 she graduated from UTT with a Bachelor of Education -Primary Specialization. She presently teaches in the Infant Department and has taught at the infant level for over 8 years.

Mrs. De Lisle is a member of the National Handwriting Association UK and as such she undertakes various handwriting courses and keeps abreast of the best pedagogical approaches to writing and literacy.

Mrs. De Lisle is also certified by Jolly Phonics UK and uses the Jolly Phonics Program at school and privately with great success.

In July 2022, she published her first book Penmanship: A Cross-Curricular Approach (Level 1).
