Gratitude from Ilé Òfún Òṣá 🤍

We extend heartfelt thanks to Ilé Ìsokan for having the children of Ilé Ìjùbà Gbogbo Òrìṣà Mímọ́ Òfún Òṣá perform at your Children’s Day Celebration.

It was a joy and an honor to share in the spirit of unity, culture, and community that you continue to uphold. The children felt welcomed, celebrated, and inspired and that is a blessing they will carry forward.

May the bond between our Ilé continue to grow in light, love, and respect.

🌞✨ By day, the Egúngún Masquerade danced in honor of our ancestors, carrying their spirit through rhythm and tradition throughout the steerts of tableland. 🌙🔥 By night, we gathered around the bonfire, lifting prayers, songs, and light to those who came before us. A beautiful balance of heritage and remembrance. 🕯️👣

Our festival was more than just an event it was a living testimony of what happens when community, culture, and spirit come together as one. From the music to the prayers, from the laughter to the quiet moments of reflection, every piece came together beautifully. We honor our roots, celebrate our traditions, and continue to build a future grounded in love, respect, and unity.

Grateful for every hand, heart, and voice that made this day unforgettable. 🌿

✨ Last year, our Egungun masquerades rose in majesty honoring the ancestors with dance, drumming, and sacred beauty. The streets came alive with the vibrant procession, carrying their presence through the community. This year, expect even more spirit, color, and power as we gather once again to call on tradition, celebrate life, and let the ancestors walk among us in the rhythm of the drums. 🙌🏾🕊️✨

Ẹ Kú Ọjọ́ Àwọn Bàbá

Happy Father’s Day!

Ògúndá Méjì teaches us that a true father is more than a provider.
He is a compass, a guidepost on the journey of life.

He does not only correct his child.
He explains, he molds, he stands beside.
Because to discipline without teaching is to confuse the spirit.
And to walk ahead without calling back is to lose your lineage.

The father shapes his child not just by words,
But by example, sacrifice, and presence.
His hands build the house,
But it is his wisdom that builds the home.

A child may grow, but without a father’s instruction,
They may not know where they are going
Because the road of life is taught, not just walked.

So Ifá reminds us:
“Kó má ṣàì mọ̀ pé baba ní ń kọ́ ọmọ ní ọna ayé.”
“Let the child never forget that it was the father who taught the way of life.”

Ẹ kú Ọjọ́ Bàbá – We salute you on this Father’s Day.
