Wawa Skate House

Wawa Skate House is a private residence featuring a mini ramp for skateboarding.

The mini ramp is located in a 20-ping (approximately 71 square meters) living room by the window, providing ample natural light throughout the day.

This space offers a cozy and personal skateboarding environment, diverging from the typical American-style skate culture. Instead, the design seamlessly integrates various elements into the existing home environment, creating a minimalist and harmonious living space.

The mini ramp's frame is constructed using robust spruce wood, while the skating surface is made of marine-grade plywood. Additional layers are built with various thicknesses of plywood, adding substantial weight and durability to the structure.

Dimensions: Height 28 inches, Width 96 inches, Length 208 inches. The platform width is 24 inches.

This Chinese New Year card combines flat design with pixel art, symbolizing the fusion of tradition and modernity to welcome the Year of the Snake 2025. The green and orange palette conveys the vitality of spring, while geometric shapes and lines emphasize the fluidity of the Snake. The stretched typography showcases innovation and a sense of futurism, retaining the warmth of traditional New Year greetings, along with a featureless, expressionless frog.

Lamp Linearity

I used a linear light strip to bind a stone, allowing the light strip to grow organically along the shape of the stone, creating a unique and organic luminaire. The color of the light can be freely adjusted. The stone is merely a bound object, which can be replaced with other items, enabling the lamp to be shaped into a personalized piece at any time.
