🌪️ TYPHOON FUNG-WONG – UPDATE | 11 NOV 2025 / 07:30 UTC
SHARE & WARN ⚠️

After leaving a trail of destruction in the Philippines — with at least 10 dead and over 1.4 million displaced — Typhoon Fung-Wong (known locally as Uwan) is now moving toward Taiwan, where land warnings are in effect.

👉 Once packing winds up to 230 km/h, the storm has now been downgraded to a tropical storm, but it still poses a major threat with heavy rain, flash floods, and landslides expected — especially in Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Tainan, and Taitung.

💨 The system is moving north-northeast at around 12 km/h and is forecast to make landfall in southern Taiwan later today (Wednesday) before weakening further.

🇵🇭 In the Philippines, communities are still reeling from back-to-back super typhoons — Kalmaegi and Fung-Wong — within one week. Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing.

🌏 Once again, these storms are a stark reminder of how climate change is amplifying extreme weather — and how the world’s most vulnerable often pay the highest price.
