Attention Hong Kong art lovers! Japan’s most renowned contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama’s iconic masterpiece, Pumpkin, has officially landed at Kai Tak’s brand-new cultural landmark, “The Twins”! Starting June 6th, this magnificent three-metre sculpture takes center stage in the Open Area of The Twins Tower I as Hong Kong’s first-ever permanent public exhibition.

This Pumpkin wears a vibrant green mantle adorned with Kusama’s signature polka dots. To Yayoi Kusama, the pumpkin has never been a mere motif, but a spiritual sanctuary that healed the loneliness and hallucinations of her childhood, beautifully transforming into a profound life meditation on love, peace, and patience.
