Work as an assistant director involved in the shooting of a car advertisement, such a precious opportunity doesn't come every day.

Llarge-scale car commercials always make people excited because they are the result of a tremendous amount of effort within a short period of time and they shine at the peak of the product's popularity.

Especailly when shooting a Subaru that emphasizes the ability to navigate effortlessly between mountains and cities is a dream for car enthusiasts.

With the director and creative team from overseas, together with the dedicated and professional Taiwanese crew, we went to various locations, chasing the best lighting conditions and shooting until the wee hours of the night. Even if it meant being exhausted for three days after the shoot, it was worth it.

The only regret is that this video probably only used about one-third of the footage, hope to see more episodes released!

It's our honor to presenting the BBC masterpiece we participated last year.

It focuses on China's information warfare, cognitive warfare, spy activities targeting Taiwan, and the "pro-unification, anti-independence" forces within Taiwan.

The documentary exploring how Taiwan resists the multifaceted threats and infiltration from China. Reporter Jane Corbin said at the end of the film that over the past seven years, the Taiwanese people have increasingly rejected "unification," and the available peaceful means for China to solve the "Taiwan issue" have been diminishing.

From the film, it can be seen that Beijing's intimidation and coercion towards Taiwan in political and military fields often backfire. Corbin said that although the younger generation in Taiwan mostly supports "independence," the older generation does not necessarily share the same sentiment. However, in recent years, people of different generations in Taiwan have become increasingly resistant to "unification" and Chinese interference, and the experience of Hong Kong has also made them distrustful of Beijing's proposed "one country, two systems" solution for Taiwan.

Once used as a training target, a lonely tank almost sank in the sand, on the front island of Kinmen, Taiwan, which is only 2 kilometers away from Chinese territory. Years of military control have deprived the locals of the opportunity to engage in water activities. Even fishermen who need to go to sea or oyster farmers who need to farm near the shore require special licenses.

As a former battlefield of the Battle 823 and Guningtou, the island has suffered from the ravages of war. The residents still have vivid memories of the intimidation and shelling that have lasted for decades across the strait.

"This tension is nothing compared to back then" the elderly people we interviewed always answered with a smile.

May the tragedy of such a war never happen again on this beautiful island.

In 2019, the people of Taiwan who love democracy and freedom simultaneously showed their support for the anti-extradition bill protests in Hong Kong with a march in Taipei.

It is precisely because of this open and free environment that Taiwan is full of vitality and hope. The rapidly changing global situation has brought attention to Taiwan's politics and national security. We will continue to speak up for this island and its surrounding islands.

Our work may be small, but we will continue to make efforts to spread Taiwan's voice and image to the world, and to contribute as global citizens.

If there is any place in Taiwan that boasts pure and natural rural scenery, it must be the east coast of Taiwan.

The promotional short film was filmed in Fuli, Hualien, a region known for producing delicious rice, we worked with local young farmers who were inspired by their grandfathers to learn rice cultivation techniques from a young age. Together with government technology projects, we incorporated modern technology that balances economic benefits and environmental protection, and created a story of expanding local leading agricultural enterprises.

Did you know that the pronunciation of "tea" actually originates from Taiwan/Hokkien? Tea culture was exported from China to the world since ancient times, and the character "茶" is pronounced differently in the North and the South of China.

Tea exported through the overland route had a pronunciation similar to what Northern China speaks, which is "Chia." However, Japan is an exception as it's closer to the North, and tea is called "O-Cha" in Japanese.

For tea exported through the sea route during the "Age of Discovery," the tea originally came from 福建 (Fujian) in South China, and a significant part of it came from Taiwan. Therefore, the pronunciation is "Té," which Spanish still uses.

Taiwanese language, also known as Hokkien, is now a minority language group that exists only in parts of 福建 (Fujian), Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Despite this, it has left its heritage to the world.

"The Life-Sized City - TAIPEI" aims to inspire viewers to take action in their own communities and become active participants in shaping the better future of our cities.

The documentary was produced by DBcom Media in 2019.

As a local fixing production team, we were honored to be a part of such a unique and innovative shoot what showcased the beauty of Taipei and the creativity of its residents.


It was amazing to see how much people valued their possessions and wanted to give the city we live better future.


Working with the organizers and fellow participants was a joy. We met talented and passionate individuals from different fields who shared our love for urban reinvention.



The experience was truly unforgettable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.

One of my favorite documentary that I've participated in is "The Last Rites," produced by CNA in 2019.

As fixer team, the challenges we faced were unique due to the nature of the subject matter - funerals. However, the experience was rewarding, and I learned so much about my local community by exploring the traditions and customs surrounding this important transition.

Overall, "The Last Rites" was a fascinating project to be a part of, and I'm proud of the final result.
