Warlock BBD’s debut album has been one of the most successful in the label’s nearly 10 year history - so it’s about time we finally got it up on YouTube! In this case as a DJ mix by label founder Quest.

We didn't get photos of everyone, but THX to all the artists who came with the good music & positive vibes last weekend at Tiger Mountain - not to mention the lovely crowd!

The was thumping and we learned some good lessons going forward. Speaking of which, the system has finally found a HOME in a cozy basement space in Central Taipei.

Incoming: AB Koo x Mettāsonic : ORIGINS 2

Last year, we teamed up with Taiwan's original DNB promoter AB Koo, and threw a party honoring the early days of 90s drum & bass with both a lineup & music from that era. It was a night for the books!

One year later, we are excited to bring the concept back, this time celebrating the early 2000s, with a slew of DJs who were likewise busy in bass during that period!

As always, Mettāsonic subwoofers in effect. Free Entry on Friday June 20 at 23 Music Room. Save the date!

8 years ago today!

Back in 2017, we released the One Style EP by Tim Reaper of . Already a bit of an underground legend at the time, it's been inspiring to follow his journey and success ever since. Fully deserved!

This EP is perhaps a bit more than his usual style, with elements of hardcore, jungle, dnb, and halftime - and very dubbed out. Forever grateful to Tim for helping us get the label off the ground with the music!

This Friday at the Dragon Bass Festival: early 2000s Taipei drum & bass DJ Amber comes out of hibernation!

"A life-long Drum n Bass enthusiast, Amber embarked on his DJ journey in 2002. That same year saw him begin amassing an ever-growing and impressive array of DnB vinyl. Hearing Amber drop selections from his collection offers insight into the development and evolution of music.

AB Koo and Mettāsonic’s ORIGINS collaboration last summer saw Amber showcase OG DnB not heard in Taipei since, well, when he dropped those very same tracks at the height of their popularity back in the day.

DRAGON BASS FESTIVAL has Amber airing his wares with some of the freshest of modern-day DnB sounds. Come cop some of that vibe during Amber’s DBF set."

This Friday at M Club - Legacy will be closing out the event with a set of drum & bass from 9-10pm.

Co-founder of local outfit Envelope - they are probably the DNB crew in Taiwan with whom we share the most similar taste in drum and bass.

Having hosted the likes of dBridge, Alix Perez, Sinistarr, Arkaik, & more, you can tell that a DJ booking these type of artists will deliver the goods.

Looking fwd to hear his selections on the sound system next Friday at M Club on the river!
