【V: The New Mythology Suite 25週年】

2000年10月10日，由吉他手 Michael J. Romeo 所領導的美國新古典前衛金屬樂團 Symphony X ，於廠牌 Inside Out Music 發行第五張錄音室專輯 ，新加入的貝斯手 Michael LePond 加上回歸的鼓手 Jason Rullo 構成該團維持最久的陣容，歌詞內容則融合了亞特蘭提斯傳說、埃及神話與及占星術等。

2016年，Classic Rock Magazine 雜誌將 選為『十大前衛金屬基本盤』，另一本雜誌 Metal Hammer 則將其列入『十大交響金屬基本盤』。

1989年10月10日，MSG 發行其自 The Michael Schenker Group 改組為 Mcauley Schenker Group (有趣的是縮寫不變) 後的第二張專輯 ，整體評價雖然略遜於前作 ，但憑著歷代最佳主唱 Robin McAuley 與 Michael Schenker 的吉他美技組合，依然創造出名曲 "Anytime" 以及 "Save Yourself"、"This Is My Heart" 等佳作，專輯也順利挺進全美 Billboard 排行榜，最高獲得第92位。

1994年10月10日，英國搖滾樂團 Suede 發行第二張專輯 ，錄音期間由於吉他手 Bernard Butler 與主唱 Brett Anderson 之間關係日趨緊張，最終 Butler 掛冠求去，導致部份歌曲必須仰賴錄音室樂手協助完成。

相較於明顯受到 David Bowie 與 The Smiths 影響的同名專輯， 展現了更多樂團獨特的美學以及更廣泛的音樂元素應用，雖然整體銷量不及前作，但依然在英國排行榜上拿下第三名並獲得金唱片認證。

2013年，NME 雜誌將其選入『史上五百大專輯』第31名。
