I've just done the maths and I'm mindblown!

Over the past four months, the first nine Season 4 PEPPA PIG TALES webisode shorts that I've written so far for HASBRO have achieved 31.2 MILLION views on the official Peppa Pig Channel alone! (There are around 3.5 million under-fives in the U.K.) The series is streamed across multiple digital channels so the total views will be even higher than that... Wow, that's quite a lot of and innit?

I feel so lucky and honoured being able to write for a cherished, heritage brand that my own children loved when it first launched, pouring my heart, soul and lived experience of having three kids and all my maternal love and care into every story. Writing for little ones is a responsibility that I take seriously as a mum - you don't get that with Ai!

This week I’m in London, at Hasbro’s WC1 offices, on PEPPA PIG business. Now that my episodes are starting to be released on the official Peppa Pig Tales YouTube channel, I can at last reveal that I’m writing for the digital series of PEPPA PIG TALES Season 4. - Angela Salt

What an incredible week with my ‘FEI FEI Family’ here in Taipei! Working with such wonderful colleagues from Fubon Cultural and Educational Foundation and TAIC has been a real pleasure. I’m back in the U.K. after being involved in another exciting and inspiring Bengaluru GAFX 2026 event and spending several more days exploring great business potential in India.

GAFX is Asia’s largest summit for the Games, Animation, VFX and Comics industries. This year was my fourth return participating in the B2B, considering pitches from independent creators, ip holders, producers and entrepreneurs. Year on year the quality of the concepts and storytelling grows and, combined with the technical expertise and innovation Indian studios are renowned for, their original ip is on the rise…

GAFX feels like a dynamic community sharing ideas, insights and innovation to elevate the entire industry and I’m proud to be part of the ecosystem. It was extremely fulfilling to meet creators who have previously pitched to me at the B2B - some of whom I’ve known and mentored or worked with since 2018 - to see how far they’ve progressed with their ip and projects. It’s evidence of how we can grow together when we collaborate, look for new opportunities and cheerlead each other; always finding a way - “like water” - as Biren Ghose once told me.

A sincere thank you to Biren Ghose, Chand R K, Srinivas Sribhakta, Lawrence Anthony, Ajay Apparoop, Aakil Nagaraju and the entire, supportive Bengaluru GAFX 2026 Team for inviting me back again to participate this year. It was truly an honour and another memorable experience.

I can also thank GAFX for uniting me with my dynamic Creative Partner, Akshay Sanjeev Chavan at Living Line Animation Studio, https://www.livingline.tv based in Hyderabad. Akshay and I are collaborating with international Teams to bring some exciting new content to market later this year!

I must give a shout-out to Grace Lane from Blue Zoo who gave a brilliant talk on creating successful globally-resonant ip. Great to see MOJO SWOPTOPS on screen behind her as an example! I’m proud to be a writer on the ratings-smashing series!

This trip gave me more opportunities to network with incredible, talented professionals from multiple sectors within the content industry and I’ve returned feeling uplifted and inspired. I always LOVE being in India. It’s a transformative place and the Games, Animation, VFX and Comics industries are transforming there… I made many new friends across India and I can’t wait to go back - 🔜! - Angela Salt

I’m delighted to be returning to Bengaluru GAFX for the fourth time. Year on year the quality and creativity of the pitches I receive at the B2B event increases. Last year I found a dynamic new creative partner, Akshay Chavan at https://www.livingline.tv and we’ve been collaborating with an international team on multiple exciting projects over the past 12 months. I’m looking forward to meeting many new creatives, producers, animators, game designers, ip owners and entrepreneurs; building new relationships and participating in all the fun, wonder and amazing innovation of GAFX 2026!
