There’s so much about God’s character, love, and faithfulness I’m learning about in this season. One of the most interesting questions I’ve heard recently was, “Do you trust God’s character?” It’s a tough question to answer especially when the circumstances don’t deem to be trustworthy. But that’s what I’m astounded with about God - that his character isn’t defined by my situation, it’s defined by who he is. I’m grateful that although seasons shift and change, God’s promises remain the same, who he is remains the same. That he has a good, perfect, and pleasing plan. That he is a holy and perfect father. I’ve yet to discover what his plan is, at this point, there’s not much I can predict, but pretty sure I’m only scratching the surface and although I don’t know what comes next, I’m all in. I’ve learned that my only job is to show up, God’s gonna do the rest. So here I am, showing up and learning to walk, smile, laugh, and live again in a way that’s only possible because God loves me. His love is too good to ever give up on me. I swear, God’s love is too good to not believe. And just like what Dory from Nemo kept saying, “just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.” 🌊
