今天的分享會聚集了三組駐村藝術家與場域方。
從各自的經驗裡，可以清楚感受到創作與生活之間
那種「緊緊相扣」的拉扯
當藝術家深入地方、與居民共處，
生活經驗開始滲入創作
而場域方也在陪伴的過程中，
不斷思考自己該「介入多少」、又該「退到哪裡」
這樣的拉扯，其實正是駐村最有趣的地方
也是創作者不是以藝術場域的方式進入地方
這樣的關係比較像是與地方關係的建構為主
有時藝術家需要引導，有時又渴望自由，
在「要什麼」與「不需要什麼」之間反覆試探，
形成動態的共創關係。
以（夏卡爾民宿 × 𡷊嶼綠工作室）的角色來說，
多年來的經驗,讓我們知道
每個上島要創作者早已對作品有自己的藍圖及找尋的方法
所有的作品還是要回歸到自創作者本身
作為場域方，只是提供一個「外皮的模樣」，
讓他們能在這片土地上找到屬於自己的呼吸節奏
而這個過程也是他們『留下』的足跡
因為知道跟視覺藝術能相比
表演藝術更像一種「時間的書寫」
用很緩慢、滲透、不可見的方式發酵著
創作的進程常隱於身體的
感知與與土地的對話中，
創作的核心，終究還是要回到藝術家自身。
島上的風、鹽、時間與人，只是陪伴與啟發，
不是框架，也不是答案。
與協辦單位、創作著之間取得共識，
在適當的時候給予協助
我們的基地還提供很完整的生活機能空間
另外還有碩大的空間提供創作者當個人工作室使用
空間因常有來自各國藝術家、旅人的造訪
甚至還有完善的中島廚房提供使用！
三餐雖是自理
我們也不吝嗇的分享自家料理
對於駐點的夥伴們,在空間動線設計上
我們也都貼近大家的生活需求
提供生活與空間的支撐！
基地本身也是舉辦多場島民的活動
更能讓駐村的創作者
很直接的進入地方
開啟人與人之間的連結～
藝術家在整個協調與溝通的過程中，
其實也是作品的一部分
若缺少這一層對話與理解，
駐地就容易成為一段片面的停留，
協辦單位就只能一昧的扮演著保母的角色
讓進駐單位（場方與地方）難以在過程中獲得應有的交流與回饋。
然而，正是這樣的模糊與試探，構成了駐村最真實的樣貌。
對於經驗尚淺的創作者，這樣的開放反而會帶來挑戰
尺度難以拿捏，甚至到後期仍不確定該如何具體呈現成果。
這樣的特質，
讓駐地的現場更接近「生活」本身。
也讓我們重新思考了「藝術」與「地方」的關係。
藝術會離開島嶼，但記憶會留下。
而我們願意繼續當那個安靜的陪伴者，
讓島嶼與人之間，繼續生成新的故事。

Today’s sharing brought together three groups of
artists and host venues.
From everyone’s stories, we could clearly feel that pull —
between life and creation, always tightly connected.
When artists live within a local community,
daily life slowly seeps into their art.
For the host venue, it’s a constant reflection:
“How much should we guide?” and “When should we step back?”
That gentle push and pull is what makes artist residencies so interesting.
It’s not only about producing art,
but about building a living relationship with a place.
Sometimes artists need guidance,
sometimes they long for freedom.
Between “what to do” and “what not to do,”
a dynamic co-creation takes shape.
For us Chagall B&B × Island Green Studio :
years of experience have shown that
each artist already carries their own blueprint and rhythm.
Our role is simply to offer an “outer shell,”
a space where they can find their own pace and breath on this island.
The traces they leave behind are their true works.
Compared with visual art, performing arts feel more like writing with time —
slow, invisible, and quietly fermenting through daily life.
The process often hides within the body’s perception
and the artist’s dialogue with the land.
In the end, the core of creation always returns to the artist.
The island’s wind, salt, time, and people —
they accompany and inspire,
but they are not boundaries, nor are they answers.
Together with our partners,
we try to find a shared understanding:
to help at the right time,
and to give space when needed.
Our base provides full living facilities,
a large open area for personal studios,
and even a well-equipped kitchen island for everyone to use.
Meals are self-prepared,
but we often share our homemade dishes with resident friends.
We also designed the space to fit daily needs,
offering both comfort and creative support.
The process of communication and coordination
is itself part of the artwork.
Without it, a residency easily becomes one-sided —
the host plays the caretaker,
and real exchange is lost.
Yet, in that ambiguity and exploration,
lies the truest spirit of an artist residency.
For newer artists, this openness can be a challenge —
it’s hard to find the right balance or decide how to show the final result.
But perhaps that is exactly what makes the residency
so close to the essence of life itself.
It helps us rethink the connection
between art and place.
Art may leave the island,
but memories remain.
And we will continue to be the quiet companion,
so that between the island and its people,
new stories can keep unfolding.
