🎻✨ The Violinist heads to Cannes! ✨🎻

We're thrilled to share that The Violinist, an animated feature set in colonial Singapore during WWII, has officially been boarded by France TV Distribution for international sales at the Cannes Film Market! 🌍🇸🇬

With a beautiful and heartfelt story, The Violinist follows young Fei and her talented friend Kai, who dream of becoming world-class violinists. But when war disrupts their lives, Kai joins the resistance, leaving Fei to search tirelessly for him through her music. Her journey becomes a beacon of hope and a vessel for grief, resonating with the struggles of resilience and memory. 🎶💔

Featuring an incredible voice cast led by Kheng Hua Tan (Crazy Rich Asians, The Tiger’s Apprentice), Kazuya Tanabe (Tokyo Vice), and more, this poignant tale will captivate audiences worldwide. 🌏✨

Co-produced by Robot Playground Media (Singapore), TV On Producciones (Spain), and Altri Occhi (Italy), with key partners including Bombillo Amarillo, Mystic House Animation, Throne Inc., Select Entertainment, and Little Green White.

由 嚴選娛樂 (Select Entertainment) 出品，法國 Animaviva Production 及 腦高映像 (HiBrain Image) 聯合製作的全新沉浸式虛擬實境作品《戲偶幻夢 Resistance》隆重啟動拍攝！

✨ 本片榮獲文化部「文化黑潮XR沉浸式影像創作計畫」及法國 CNC 補助支持，由臺法團隊攜手打造，結合文化與技術的創新呈現。

這部 VR360° 沉浸式體驗 將觀眾帶回台北歷史悠久的大稻埕，再現日治時代的文化與社會風貌，並深入一位戲偶修復師的夢境，回顧臺灣近代歷史中的關鍵事件，探討命運中抗爭與希望的深刻故事。

🎥 "Resistance" Begins Filming!

We are thrilled to announce the kickoff of Resistance, a groundbreaking immersive VR project produced by Select Entertainment, co-produced by Animaviva Production (France) and HiBrain Image (Taiwan).

✨ This project is supported by the Ministry of Culture’s X-Labs XR Immersive Creation Program and CNC. Developed collaboratively by Taiwanese and French teams, it blends cultural heritage with cutting-edge technology.

Resistance is a VR360° immersive experience that takes audiences back to the historic Dadaocheng district of Taipei, recreating the cultural and social landscapes of the Japanese colonial period. Delving into the dreamscape of a puppet restorer, it explores pivotal moments in Taiwan's modern history and the timeless struggles of resistance and hope.

🎭 The project features the renowned Chen Hsi-Huang Traditional Puppet Theater, led by Master Chen Hsi-Huang, a living national treasure recognized as the Preserver of Important Traditional Puppet Art and Classical Puppet Costume, Armor, and Prop Craftsmanship by the Ministry of Culture.

The production employs state-of-the-art 4DViews technology, delivering an unparalleled immersive and visual experience.

Thrilled to announce that our project Eisbär 碧兒的奇幻旅程 has been selected for the 2024 edition of the IMPULSE Program at VRDays’ Immersive Tech Week in Rotterdam! 🌍✨ Through this incredible opportunity, we’ll be pitching our work at the IMPULSE Pitching Session on December 4th, alongside leading industry partners in immersive tech and XR innovation.
