In Taiwan, it seems that breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day.

Breakfast shops in Taiwan seem to outnumber other types of eateries.

It seems to be quite easy to start your own breakfast joint and become "laoban".

Maybe they're popular because there's no time in the morning?!

Posters painted on the sides of Taiwanese buildings don't happen anymore...
.. this form of advertising still happens, but it's always printed posters on huge canvases.

So, it's a rare sight to see painted posters.

They're an art form! Enjoy the ones that you do find.

These are pretty much the nicest townhomes in all of Taiwan!

In Kaohsiung, there's a park that is surrounded by mostly new townhomes.

It's very quiet, because the road down the middle of the park was sealed off.

The roads around are also not convenient for riding through, so traffic is mostly residents.

The loudest thing that you'll hear is the #&$@!N@ Takkyubin truck saying 「左轉中，請注意安全。左轉中，請注意安全。左轉中，請注意安全。左轉中，請注意安全。左轉中，請注意安全。左轉中，請注意安全。」
