#心裡的話 I have zero energy and enthusiasm left in me for Facebook. I feel so much injustice in this app that I hope it will go bankrupt someday.
The Facebook account, which was suspended again on November 1st, was retrieved in June of this year. During that time, my FB profile which is for my page only was unfairly suspended just because I uploaded a photo file from WeChat. It was that moment when I changed my page's profile picture and wallpaper. That account was accused of a cybersecurity threat and was disabled by a Facebook admin.
I was busy doing my errands when I found out that my FB was logged out and then I tried to log in with my mobile number, FB activated an old account I created in 2020. Unfortunately last Saturday, it was again disabled just because of a post about a hotel job in Taiwan and my page gained high engagement and so this account was suspended and the page is threatened to be unpublished just because of "too much activity" and the alleged human exploitation by that specific post.
How could a headline from a media outlet in Taiwan be subjected to human exploitation? In fact, the likes and comments on my post are nothing compared to SO MANY Filipinos in Taiwan, who are Meta, and self-proclaimed bloggers and digital creators, who are posting the same thing and getting thousands of shares, comments, and likes.
My question is, why me?
I don't know what else to say about this injustice but what makes this unfortunate experience much more unbearable are the people who think losing this page is not a big deal.
I feel really bad for those who think what I do for this page is just nothing. Look at those famous accounts here in Taiwan, those with thousands of followers, what are those accounts in common?
👉 They use the infidelity issue here to gain attention
👉 They use the conflict between CT, FW, Teachers and so many others for controversy
👉 They expose gossip and quarrels just to promote themselves without considering the amount of negativity
In short, many of these PEOPLE use the Filipinos in Taiwan for their personal gain.
But NEVER in my entire timeline here on Facebook that I used people for my own interest.
I share what I believe is right because I know how important it is to have a principle in life even if it means no one will appreciate my post.
I promote my events and other useful information without being prideful because I don't want to consider myself anything else but ordinary. I want to live with the purpose of PhilTai and that's bridging the gap between cultures and showing the Taiwanese the positive side of the Filipinos in Taiwan and in the Philippines.
It says FB will check about my posts and comments and see if they violate their community standards.
Please, I don't even curse or belittle anyone here. Even if I disagree on something, I maintain respect and I fully understand the meaning of kindness. So I am completely dismayed by how Facebook evaluates or scores its online users. Trolls are everywhere. Scammers are everywhere too! Hateful and negative users, and nudity are trending. But why me?
Why always me and my accounts or my page? I have lost my event page already, I don't know why my PhilTai page should suffer the same fate when all the posts here are not using, hurting, or shaming anyone?
I am not just discouraged now, I am more like devastated by this never-ending discrimination and suspension I have here in this app.
So, if this app goes bankrupt, and will be discontinued like Friendster, I would be one of those people who would surely be happy...
It's difficult to promote God in this godless world.
