KEEPING FUEL COST LOW: Taiwan has absorbed NT$3.3 billion (PHP6-Billion) in fuel costs over the past two weeks to help stabilize domestic prices and keep fuel low cost amid Middle East tensions.

Under a price-stabilization mechanism, CPC (Taiwan's state run oil supplier) absorbs at least 60 percent of cost increases while keeping domestic fuel prices.

Taiwan government has also expanded fuel tax cuts to 50 percent, much lowering gasoline and diesel taxes.

Taiwan has prioritized price stability as global energy supplies face disruptions from the conflict.
