Crรชpes + apple cider = a Paris must try ๐ฅ๐
Crรชpes originally come from Brittany, where wheat was scarce but buckwheat thrived. Savoury galettes became everyday food, and apple cider was the natural drink of choice. Wine grapes struggled in the cool, wet climate, but the apples flourished. ๐
The result was this: thin, crispy crรชpes paired with dry, lightly sparkling cider, it's fresh, low-alcohol, and perfect to cut through butter, cheese and ham or whatever you top your crรชpe woth! Just a great combo.
