. The word “elephant” comes from the Greek word “elephas” which means “ivory”.

The tusks of an elephant are modified incisors that grow throughout an elephant’s lifetime. An adult male’s tusks grow about 7 inches a year. Tusks are used to dig for salt, water and roots, to debark trees, to clear a path and occasionally in fights. Additionally, they are used for marking trees to establish an elephant’s territory.

Yet while elephants have lived alongside humans for so long, there is still much we don’t know about them. With the largest brain of any land animal, they are smart, sentient, social and empathetic, qualities we strive for ourselves. We share so many characteristics with elephants that they may well be more like us than any other animal. But we are risking their future and, in the process, damaging the integral habitat required for biodiversity throughout Asia and Africa

It is believed that the zebra's stripes work like camouflage, When zebras stand together, it is harder for predators to determine how many zebras are in the group. The stripes may also make the zebra appear unattractive to smaller predators, such as bloodsucking horseflies, which can spread disease. In addition, the stripes may work as a natural sunscreen.

Each zebra's stripes are unique. Just as no two human fingerprints are alike, no two zebras have the same stripe pattern.

For this fact reminds me of how we as humans are stronger together

Journeys makes us see things so as we learn things, somewhere in Africa on a flight I spotted a river and got me thinking.

In most times of our lives we tend to look high, we look on our dreams, passion, goals and all that makes us feel complete or alive.
Its great but never forget to keep your eyes low away avoid pride that will spoil the person you are and ment to be always stay humble and you will be full of lack.
