🇫🇷 Je préfère toujours les jours avec quelques nuages. Et la raison est simple, les plus beaux couchers de soleil sont ceux avec quelques nuages dans le ciel. Mais pas trop 😅. Bon dimanche à tous !⁣

🇫🇷 J'adore vivre à Paris, mais ce qui me manque dans la vie citadine, c'est définitivement le ciel nocturne et la possibilité de voir les étoiles. Regarder les étoiles est comme une sorte de méditation je trouve et vaut vraiment la peine de rester debout toute la nuit !. En plus à Zanzibar, vous pouvez regarder les étoiles et écouter la mer en même temps. Qu’est ce qu’on peut demander de plus? 🙃⁣

🇬🇧 I love living in Paris, but what I’m missing in city live is definitely the clear night skies and being able to see the the stars. I feel like Stargazing is a kind of meditation and definitely worth staying up all night. As a bonus in Zanzibar you can watch the stars and listen to the sea. What else do you need? 🙃 ⁣

🇫🇷 Lorsque je voyage dans un nouveau pays, je passe du temps à parcourir différents endroits pour comprendre la culture locale, le mode de vie des gens et l'atmosphère générale. C'est vraiment devenu une partie de mon expérience de voyage. La Tanzanie a été une super expérience, de good vibes tout du long. Vous avez sûrement entendu l'expression swahili "Hakuna matata" qui signifie "pas de problème" ou "pas de soucis" ou " tout va bien". Mon expérience en Tanzanie était vraiment "Hakuna matata".😁

🇬🇧 When I travel to a new country I spend some time roaming around different places to understand the local culture, the lifestyle of different people and the general atmosphere. It has really become a part of my travel experience. Tanzania was such a great experience, good vibes all the way. You surely have heard the Swahili phrase "Hakuna matata" which meanings "no trouble" or "no worries" or "take it easy". My Tanzania experience was very much "Hakuna matata". 😁

Shot photographs, not animals 📸😊⁣

🇫🇷 Les safaris sont devenus très populaires au 19ème siècle, principalement pour la chasse, même si le mot safari est considéré comme ayant son origine de l'arabe "safar" signifiant voyage. Je suis heureux que les safaris de chasse soient devenus moins populaires et plutôt rares de nos jours. Je préfère effectivement "shooter" des photos plutôt que des animaux et chasser la photo parfaite est définitivement un sport différent. Un moment excitant et en quelque sorte un rituel pour moi, c'est la fin de la journée, quand je regards la pêche du jour. Sur cette photo, je suis tellement concentré que je suis devenu la proie d'un autre photographe 😂⁣

🇬🇧 Safaris became very popular in the 19th century, mostly for the hunting, even though the word safari is considered to have its origin from arabic “safar” meaning travel. I’m glad that hunting safaris these days have become less popular and rather rare. I prefer to shoot photographs not animals and hunting the perfect picture is definitely a different sport. An exciting moment and somehow a ritual for me is when at the end of the day I sit down and go through the catch of the day. Here I’m so concentrated I became the prey for another photographer 😂⁣

🇫🇷 Pendant notre séjour en Tanzanie, nous avons souvent traversé le Serengeti pendant les heures dorées, ce qui était parfait pour profiter du paysage et des animaux baignés par la lumière dorée du soleil et, bien sûr, pour prendre quelques photos 📸😊. Mais certains animaux semblent profiter du coucher de soleil tout comme nous. Preuve ici : Une autruche regardant le coucher de soleil 😎. Passez un bon dimanche !⁣⁣

🇬🇧 While in Tanzania we often drove through the Serengeti during golden hours, which was just perfect for us to enjoy the landscape and animals bathed in the warm rays of the suns and obviously to shot some photographs 📸😊. Mais j'aime aussi la photographie parce que de nombreux moments s'échappent de mon esprit et je les oublie. 🇫🇷 J'ai eu beaucoup de chance d'observer un groupe de lionceaux car les lionnes gardent les lionceaux cachés spécifiquement des autres lions pendant jusqu'à deux mois. Ce n'est qu'après ce temps qu'elle les fera sortir de leur cachette et les présentera au reste de la troupe. J'ai pris cette photo juste au moment où l'un d'eux a passé la tête entre les herbes. Saviez-vous que les bébés Lion naissent les yeux fermés. Leurs yeux ne s'ouvrent que 3 à 11 jours après la naissance. ⁣

🇬🇧 I was very lucky to observer a group of lion cubs because the lionesses keeps the cubs hidden specifically from other lions for up to two months. Only after this time, she will bring them out of hiding and introduce them to the rest of the pride. I shot this photo right the moment when one of them stuck out his head between the grass. Did you know that Lion babies are born with their eyes closed. Their eyes only open 3-11 days after birth.⁣

🇫🇷 Même si cela n'en a peut-être pas l'air, cette plateforme d'observation est très sympa à grimper pour observer la nature autour. Fait intéressant : Ndarakwai faisait partie de la colonie allemande, avec une importante activité pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Sur de nombreuses collines du terrain de la réserve, désormais privée, on peut encore voir les tranchées qui avaient été creusées. Le pâturage non réglementé, l'abattage des arbres et le braconnage ont détruit le paysage et chassé la plupart des animaux. Après un très long projet de réhabilitation, il abrite désormais à nouveau plus de 70 espèces de mammifères et 300 espèces d'oiseaux. Suivez-moi, on monte pour jeter un coup d'œil ? 😎⁣

🇬🇧 Even though it might not look like it, this outlook in the Ndarakwai reserve is pretty nice to climb up and watch the wildlife around. Interesting fact: Ndarakwai was part of the German Colony, seeing significant action during World War I. On many hills of the now privately owned land, you can still see the trenches that had been dug. Unregulated grazing, tree cutting and rampant poaching destroyed the landscape and drove out most animal life. After a long-time rehabilitation project it is now home to over 70 mammal species, and 300 bird species again. Follow me up and have a look ? 😎⁣

🇫🇷 Je pense qu'avec le temps l'objectif que nous nous fixons pour les vacances change. Auparavant, je recherchais l'aventure et l'action, mais maintenant je recherche la détente et du temps pour moi. Selon vous c’est l'âge ou d'être parent qui est à l'origine de cela ? Je ne sais pas, mais je me sens définitivement très à l'aise pour explorer l'art de “ne pas faire grand chose” en ce moment !✌🏻😇⁣

I used to search for adventure and action a lot, where now I’m also looking for real time off and taking time to relax, because life can be a rush. Safarilifestyle: How about Breakfast here!? 😁 ⁣

🇫🇷 Retour sur cette matinée dans le parc national du Serengeti : Une nuit sous une merveilleuse tente, à l'écoute de la faune sauvage autour. (Regardez mes post précédents sur mon profil pour en savoir plus sur le camp Wellworth Ole Serai). J'ai toujours adoré dormir dehors, même si comparer cette expérience avec du camping serait loin de la vérité 😇. Cependant, se réveiller et avoir une table qui vous attend avec un petit déjeuner parfait et une vue sur la nature, c'est ce que j'appelle le luxe. Bravo à toute l'équipe de cet endroit au milieu du parc national, vous donnant l’envie de ne plus vouloir partir 🙏🏻😎.⁣

🇬🇧 Throwback to that morning in the Serengeti National park: A night in a marvelous tent, listening to the wildlife around. (Check out my previous posts on my feed to see more from the Wellworth Ole Serai Camp). I have always loved sleeping outside, even though comparing this experience with camping would be far from the truth 😇. However, waking up and having a table waiting for you with a perfect breakfast and a view of the wild, that's what I call luxury. Bravo to all the team at this brilliant place in the middle of the National park, making you feel like you don’t want to leave 🙏🏻😎. ⁣
