When we forget that we are alchemists, we begin to live in illusion.
In an illusion where we believe that we are separate from the Earth. An illusion where we exploit its resources in the name of progress. Thinking we are the masters of the Earth, we are fools. Thinking that we are at the mercy of the Earth, we are also fools. Both ways of thinking are narrow, and fail to see the greater connection.

In reality, there is no separation between the Universe and You. What our soul is really yearning to do is to to harmonize our energies with those of the Earth into their natural state of unity. The outer universe is not separate from the inner one, but rather it is a reflection of it.
What we think, we create.
When you realize this, the alchemy begins, and you flow through this dimension in a whole other way. You start seeing everything as part of you and yourself as part everything. You become an alchemist. You stop being a drop in the ocean, and begin to be the entire ocean in a drop. You stop being a sparkle from a fire, and begin being an entire fire in a sparkle.

~Ouff that took way longer to type out than I thought. Some deep s**t right there that I’ve learned through travelling and meeting some Enlightened AF peoples. To be a sexyass badass gangsterass dope mofacka is simply to Be Authentic. Your baddest boujeest version of you is the true you! When you can release the pressures to conform to societal norms and are able to unapologetically express your thoughts and feelings - that’s when you’re winning at life.
From the moment I decided I wanna drop out of university, I dismantled the ideology that I need to be something/someone other than what I am. I don’t need to dress up in a mask that will make me fit in to what’s considered normal. I don’t need to decorate myself with meaningless social ornaments to be deemed worthy by others. I don’t need to get degrees, gain weight, speak formally and make a pretty image. Instead, I just need to allow myself to express the true me. And once I started doing this, it started a beautiful process of living life much more fully. My connections with people became much more deeper and I just began to move through this game with a whole other level of freedom. And the more I express myself, the more I learn about and love myself. The dopest thing you can offer to yourself is authenticity. Be Authentic my G’s 🙌🏽

Once upon a time, lions used to freely roam the entire continent of Africa in their flourishing playground full of so many creatures. Today, they have disappeared from 94% of their historical range, and they continue to be threatened by an increasing human population and development. In our faulty notion of “progress”, we turn soil into concrete, destroy abundant ecosystems, encroach wildlife populations and lose our connection to nature. •Mama what’s inside the depths of your mouth?•

I just got back from a 7 day safari in Serengeti. The one mission I had for this trip was to see a cheetah and its cubs - and I succeeded on Day 3! I have already seen and captured a lion with its cubs, a leopard with its cub, but the cheetah was missing in my big cat sightings collection. Me and my guide Praygod from drove through the plains of Eastern Serengeti, where cheetahs are known to be seen most. We drove for 3 hours through the endless plains with no sightings apart from the usual herbivores. But we didn’t lose hope, we had enough daylight and fuel to keep going. We were the only ones in this area of Serengeti and no other cars for hours drive in all directions. We said “let’s send a message to nature to encounter the cheetahs”. And we took a moment to do just that. Not 20 minutes after that moment, there they were - hidden so well in a bush that it was impossible to have noticed them unless they moved. Praygod noticed the tail of the mama cheetah and then it disappeared in the grasses. We kept our eyes locked in the vicinity and finally they emerged. A Mama and 2 cubs. What a glorious moment of rejoice.
“Now that’s what you call a game drive” said Praygod. It’s a game - and you have to try your best to win.

There’s something about ending the day with an unreal cloudscape that reminds me of a deep truth.
Every sunset is another work of art made for us to enjoy, and for us to remember:
This too shall pass.
The King Lion’s paw-steps will fade into dust. The fallen tree will wither into the ground.
And the dry grassland will blossom with flowers.
Everything glorious, everything evil, every joy and every pain - too shall pass.
Nothing in this world is permanent apart from your consciousness.

Serengeti means “endless plains” or “infinite place” in the Ma’a language. And that’s exactly how you feel when you’re venturing though a sight of hundreds of Acacias, each one with a different character. I’m lucky to be able to come here month after month and return to civilization feeling more inspired to be boundless. To break the limitations of the mind and be infinite.

From getting stuck in the middle of the ocean and singing songs because there is nothing else we could do - to exploring far away lagoons and learning to swim with whale sharks, we really had a taste of freedom at with the lit AF crew

Kingson’s dream is to be a full time wildlife photographer. He lives in the city of Dar es Salaam because of his job as a Biology teacher but he craves to be in the wilderness. His best day would start with him waking up in the bush and setting out on an adventure to look for the most awe-inspiring animal encounters. I selected him to be my intern out of 50+ applications because I could feel that he has heard his calling. He came through to me as a very inspired person who just has a genuine passion and curiously for animals. It was amazing to see him coming to the Serengeti for the first time. He immediately felt all his senses awaken to all the sights and sounds to be felt and since then he has been in Serengeti continuing the internship and flying on hot air balloons with He will be there for a few more weeks living his best life. This gigantic hole in the ground, known as a crater, is one of many that are dispersed around the Great Rift Valley. They are a result of ancient volcanoes imploding (collapsing inward).
In the back, we see the only active volcano in Tanzania, Ol Doinyo Lengai, which is the mountain of God for the Maasai people.
I have been to this location 6 times already because these are the kind of places I find authentic stories to make films about - but more than that it’s because I feel the need for adventure deep inside of me. A need to discover remote wilderness. To be so far away from civilization. This is where it feels so right to me - everything comes into proportion and all the interconnections between everything become clear. The illusion of separateness and human superiority over the natural world fade away. I feel my eyes and heart opened to something greater than myself.
What do you feel when you are in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the sheer force of nature around you?
