Der Bamberger Journalist Till Mayer berichtete bereits viele Jahre vor dem Überfall Russlands auf die gesamte Ukraine vom Krieg im Osten des Landes. Seit Februar 2022 reist er im monatlichen Rhythmus in die Ukraine und informiert mit Text- und Fotoreportagen. Nun ist seine neue Ausstellung „Frontlinie - Europas Krieg in der Ukraine“ auf Wanderschaft. Mit einem Bildvortrag wird Till Mayer die Ausstellung in Augsburg eröffnen (Vortrag im Evangelischen Forum Annahof, anschließender Gang durch die Ausstellung im Kreuzgang von St. Anna). Im Anschluss lädt der Ukrainische Verein Augsburg zu einem Empfang.

On the afternoon of December 8, 2023, Kyiv residents found themselves in a new transportation reality when, by the strong decision of Mayor Vitalii Klychko, they were left without six metro stations – stations from Demiivska to Teremky were urgently closed for repairs. Approximately for six months. The reason was the flooding of the metro tracks due to tunnel sealing violations. But many questions have arisen, including what caused a violation in the tunnel’s sealing, how long it has been happening and and what funds will be used for repairs during the difficult stage of the war, which is entering its third year.

First hearing took place at the Northern Appellate Economic Court of Kyiv, where the issue of returning control over part of the lands of the archaeological monument of national significance "Kitaev Archaeological Complex" to state ownership is being considered.
