Application: Field calendula is rarely used in folk medicine. A decoction of the herb is taken for colic. An alcoholic tincture of calamus flowers, together with calamus root and poplar buds, is taken for stomach cancer, alternating the intake of tincture with the intake of water infusion of calamus flowers.
