Doogee's new DG Venus is an almost perfect replica of the Garmin Lily smartwatch that launched in January 2021. Doogee is a Chinese brand that tends to focus on affordable products and this is clearly one of the major differences between its new women's smartwatch and the Garmin Lily, making it an option worth considering if on a budget.

Doogee might not be as well known as some other brands, but the company has been around for a long time. Founded in 2013, its product portfolio is primarily made up of smartphones, including ones designed for those looking for a more rugged device. Similar to many other smartphone brands, however, the company has also begun making smartwatches as well. The DG Venus is its first wearable designed specifically for women.

YouTube is launching its first Copyright Transparency report today, giving users an insight into how the company is protecting users from copyright issues. Anyone who's ever uploaded anything to YouTube knows that the platform's Content ID system can be pretty aggressive about what it deems as copyrighted material. It could be several seconds of music playing in the background at a coffee shop, and YouTube will likely offer a copyright strike.

But YouTube's system isn't perfect. For example, two people were charged earlier this week for reportedly scamming YouTube out of $20 million in a YouTube Music royalty scam. The duo was monetizing a library of 50,000 Spanish-language songs for which they did not own rights for. The scam began sometime in 2017 and ended in April 2021, and the duo collected $20.77 million worth of royalty payments.

NASA just completed fueling the James Webb Space Telescope, marking an incredible milestone for the instrument's upcoming launch at the end of the month. There are a lot of tools at our disposal for charting outer space. Humans have created rovers, probes, orbiters, and a host of other tools to help uncover the secrets of the universe. One of the most impactful of these has been the Hubble telescope. Hubble's been an invaluable tool since its launch in April 1990. It's determined the age of the universe, captured thousands of jaw-dropping photos, and has generally given humans a better understanding of the space around us.

That's what makes the James Webb Space Telescope so exciting. While not designed to be a replacement for Hubble, James Webb is its long-awaited successor with more advanced technology and imaging capabilities. The problem, however, has been trying to actually get it off Earth. Following years of delays and billions of dollars spent over budget, James Webb is finally on track to go into space at the end of December. And with days to go before its December 22 launch, the telescope just completed a huge milestone getting it closer to that point.

Epic Games and Psyonix announce Rocket League Sideswipe Season 1 is now available to play in the rocket-powered mobile game. A simplified spin-off of Rocket League, Sideswipe has been in preseason since it released on Google Play and the Apple App Store in mid-November, and it's now ready for its first Rocket League-style event.

Accompanied by a colorful cinematic trailer similar to some of the main game's past promotional videos, Rocket League Sideswipe Season 1 kicked off on Thursday. This means Sideswipe Season 1 Rocket Pass progression is now available for free and premium users, and competitive ranks earned during the preseason have been reset. The most notable in-game change is the introduction of Sideswipe's inaugural event, which is a crossover with Rocket League itself. Completing Rocket League Sideswipe event challenges will unlock the exclusive Nuhai Inverted Wheels and Wow! Goal Explosion in Rocket League for free, a potential draw for those who already play both and others willing to give the mobile game a try.

Porsche's recent deal could be a sign that the arrival of some of the most cutting-edge electric bikes on the market is right around the corner. However, they're likely going to cost almost as much as a Ducati sport motorcycle. Porsche might have hit a snag with its electric vehicles, but that's certainly not stopping its push for EV market dominance.

The legendary automaker is no stranger to e-bikes, even coming up with its new lineup in collaboration with German e-bike manufacturer Rotwild. Back in March, Porsche released its eBike Sport and Cross models, which not only sported premium-grade materials and smart features, but were also among the most expensive e-bikes available on the market. While Porsche is known for its broad range in collaborations within various industries, from private jets to luxury smartwatches, it now seems to be turning its focus on bolstering its e-bike initiative.
