A Fukushima-type scenario is possible at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, The Guardian reported, citing IAEA experts.

For the third consecutive day, Ukraine’s largest nuclear power plant has had no external electricity supply. Cooling and safety systems are operating solely on diesel generators after the last power line was cut.

The newspaper published its first print edition on Oct. 18, 1995 and went online in 1997. Its global audience has been growing steadily since then, peaking at more than 65 million page views in 2014.

Today, the Kyiv Post prints a weekly newspaper of 10,000 copies and publishes continual news updates at KyivPost.com. The Kyiv Post also prints regular supplements, including Legal Quarterly, Real Estate, and Doing Business.

The newspaper’s motto is “Ukraine’s Global Voice,” which in 2018 replaced the previous motto of “Independence. Community. Trust.” Both slogans reflect the newspaper’s commitment to the highest journalistic and ethical standards.
