We have just lost a giant of a Latin Jazz, Latin Music, Mambo, Guaguanco, Cha Cha, Son Montuno and more.. Mr. Eddie Palmieri I had the opportunity to see him in New York for the first time many years and again in Europe. I have many of his albums on Vinyl as he was one of the artists that stood out for me when i started learning to dance salsa plus I’m a huge piano lover and Eddie was a master on the keys 🎹 R.I.P Eddie 😢

is a percussionist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has studied the Afro-Cuban tradition in France, Spain and Cuba.Since 2012 he has been a part of numerous musical projects and worked with some of the best musicians in the country. He manages to implement the Afro-Cuban percussion in different musical genres including salsa, Latin jazz, reggae, funk, bossa nova and pop. Apart from his active performing career he is also a passionate educator and organizes workshops, clinics and drum circles.
Martin Velev is a multi-instrumenatlist and salsa instructor based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The combination between teaching Cuban salsa and playing Afro-Cuban/Salsa music guided Martin to organizing musicality workshops for dancers, who want to gain better understanding about the Latin music, its rhythms and elements.

Latin music is my therapy and collecting vinyls is a part of that therapy 🎼🎧 🙂

DJ Mark-Anthony story..

My journey is the art of being a disk jockey started off in Toronto Canada in 1989 with 2 turntables, a mixer, a cheap pair of headphones, some underground house and Detroit techno vinyl records and many hours of practice. In 1991 I became a prolific beat mixer and got my first gig as a house music Dj and I never looked back. After 8 years of djing house music and I fell in love with the Latin rhythms and started Djing salsa both on vinyl and Cds.

After many years of salsa I was really missing beat mixing and that’s when I found the sweet music Kizomba, the musicality in Semba and the cool and energized beats of Ghetto Zouk & Urban.

Djing is not only my best hobby but its also a career I love and I feel like I’m only getting started :)
