Author has been working for 3 years in China, and drew his attention to the fact of the big popularity of dating apps. He asked people about these applications and how it work.

Getting to know and choosing a person in common in China (and not only) apps for single people is very similar to choosing a food in food-app. Basic information for the profile – date of birth, growth and the amount of your earnings per month/year. Nothing about your interests, favorite books/movies/music or life priorities.

Very similar to the pragmatic choice of food on the food capacity. You choose a pizza with cucumbers and mushrooms, because you love vegetables and, of course, mushrooms.
Or you don’t order salad with salmon because you can’t stand the fish. You choose a person the way you choose food.
