En interessant dag med god opptak til og episode 3 (One God, One king, One Kingdom).
Per Trygve Fossli Løyte var med som historiker, sherpa, fotograf og droneoperatør. s. Seljen var en svært blid og lokal "Taxi-fører".

Behind every minute of a historical documentary lies countless hours of research and discussion.

Today was one of those days.

I had another inspiring meeting with Professor of History Myroslav Voloshchuk from the University of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian Natioanl University and historian Per Trygve Fossli Løyte. Both have been invaluable to the Viking Legends project over a long period.

Today's task was to put the final pieces together on some of the most difficult questions in the saga material: names, titles, places and historical terminology. Many of these are not preserved consistently in the sources. They appear in different languages, different traditions and sometimes contradict one another.

There are rarely simple answers—but that's also what makes this work so fascinating.

Every detail we settle brings us one step closer to telling this remarkable story as accurately as possible.
