Satellite images showing the aftermath of the UAV attack on the Shagol airfield in russia’s Chelyabinsk region, about 1,700 km from the Ukrainian border, have appeared online.

Following the April 25 strike, two Su-57s and one Su-34 were redeployed. An image from April 26 shows efforts to deal with the consequences of the strike, according to the Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+.

“Obviously, no one would carry a 100 kg warhead over such a distance. The aircraft are damaged, and that is enough to put them out of service,” the report says.

At one of russia’s largest refineries in Perm, a key AVT-4 primary oil processing unit and at least four tanks were hit.

This is one of the largest oil refineries in russia, with a capacity of nearly 13 million tons per year, supplying fuel to both civilian consumers and the military.

As a result of the strike, the vacuum and atmospheric rectification columns caught fire, effectively disabling the AVT-4 unit.
Monitoring sources report that the fire also spread to the tank farm.

Ukraine presented a new sculpture “No Fate” at Burning Man after the destruction of “Black Cloud.”

The installation continues the idea of the previous work and carries the message: “There is no fate except the one we create,” a line from Sarah Connor in the film “Terminator 2.”

The sculpture was created from fragments of the destroyed “Black Cloud” and symbolizes human control over destiny.

On August 29, Ukraine honors the memory of defenders who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.

The date was chosen for a reason. On August 29, 2014, one of the most tragic episodes of the Russian-Ukrainian war before the full-scale invasion took place — the withdrawal of Ukrainian soldiers from the encirclement near Ilovaisk. Following orders and moving through the agreed “green corridor,” Ukrainian columns were mercilessly and dishonorably shot by Russian forces.

The path of our defenders lay through sunflower fields, which is why the sunflower became the traditional symbol of this memorial day.
