Ukrainian civilians have returned home after years of illegal detention by Russia. Seven more Ukrainian civilians who had been unlawfully held in Russian captivity for years have been brought home, Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, said.

“Ukrainians aged 35 to 66 have returned to their homeland. All of them were illegally detained by the Russians in 2022 during the occupation of Mariupol and parts of the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions.

In the Kyiv region, this concerns the Bucha district, where the occupiers committed atrocities in 2022.

One of the Ukrainians was abducted from his own home solely because his son serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Another was kidnapped directly from his workplace in the agricultural sector, where he was working at the time of the Russian invasion.

Among those released is also a volunteer who joined Tyra’s Angels in Mariupol in 2022. Tyra herself was detained alongside him that same day, and we managed to bring her home earlier.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine carried out long-range strikes overnight against Russian military logistics, oil infrastructure, and air defense assets.

“These are responses to the brutal Russian strikes against our people.

I thank the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR), and the Special Operations Forces (SSO) for their successful work at a distance of about 300 kilometers from the front line.

Targets on both sides of the Crimean Bridge were hit: maritime oil transport logistics in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in temporarily occupied Kerch. Military logistics were also successfully struck, along with four radar stations belonging to S-400 systems and two Pantsir air defense systems.

I am grateful to all our soldiers for their accuracy and professionalism. Russia understands only force, and our long-range force is working for peace. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelenskyy stated.

This night, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached Moscow once again, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“For the second time in a week, a Moscow refinery was hit. Targets in the Rostov region and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were also struck,” the president noted.

Zelenskyy emphasized that this was “a completely fair response to Russian strikes on our cities and communities and another important result of the work of our soldiers against facilities that sustain the Russian military machine.

Defense Minister Fedorov announced that Ukraine’s first guided aerial bomb is ready for combat use.

“We continue to develop Ukrainian high-tech solutions for the front. A Brave1 participant has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which has already passed the necessary tests and is ready for combat deployment.

The development took 17 months. The bomb has a unique design created specifically for the realities of modern warfare. It is not a copy of Western or Soviet systems, but an original Ukrainian development intended for the effective destruction of fortifications, command posts, and other enemy targets dozens of kilometers behind the front line after launch.

The warhead weighs 250 kg. The Ministry of Defense has already purchased the first experimental batch. Pilots are now practicing combat scenarios and adapting the weapon for use in real battlefield conditions.

Ukraine is moving from importing individual solutions to creating its own high-tech weapons, systematically strengthening the Defense Forces and gaining a technological advantage on the battlefield.

Soon, Ukrainian guided aerial bombs will be operating against enemy targets. We are scaling solutions that increase strike range and accuracy and change the rules of modern warfare,” Fedorov said..

The largest attack since the beginning of the war was carried out on Moscow and the Moscow region.
