A lot of you asked about shrimp, so hereā€™s a quick clarification.

A tiny piece of plain boiled shrimp can be offered as an occasional treat (about once every 1ā€“2 weeks). It should never be a regular part of a hedgehogā€™s diet, and it should always be plain boiled in water only, with no salt, seasoning, oil, or sauces.

Their staple diet should be insects and high-quality cat food thatā€™s rich in protein.

Hopper has officially voted NO on shrimp. Joyce, on the other hand, would happily eat the entire ocean if I let heršŸ˜…

This morning, thunder woke me up.

For a split second, I thought it was explosions. I jumped out of bed and immediately opened the news.

Thankfully, it was just a thunderstorm over Lviv.

War changes you in ways you donā€™t even notice until moments like these.

Joyce had her first shrimp todayšŸ¤ and of course she approved. Sheā€™ll eat pretty much anything I put in front of heršŸ˜…

Hopper is a different story. He refused to even sniff the shrimp while I was filming. As soon as the camera was off, he took one tiny bite, realized it wasnā€™t a wormie, made the most disappointed face, and spat it right back out.

Looks like shrimp is staying on Joyceā€™s menu only.
