The film tells about the Soviet factory in Donetsk which in the 2000s became an art center and with the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war had turned into a torture camp. The film explores the horrific act of dehumanization through the unique testimonies of those who made it out of that living hell. The project was created at the request of Суспільне Мовлення by the Trempel Films company under the grant from the US State Department.

Finally, we are glad to announce the TV premiere in Ukraine of our documentary "Izolyatsiya" by .igor.2021 on the 2nd of June. The story of an art center in Donetsk that in 2014 was transformed by russians in the torture center of Ukrainians. The story of the plant, the art center, and the prison!

Recently the director shot a video version of the ballet "The Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" based on the novel of Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky. It was a great experience and big honor working with true and passionate professionals of all this performance!

Пост подяки і нагадування, що кіно знімається в першу чергу для гладача. Величезна подяка Татьяна Дитковская та Юрий Григорович за те, що у 2023-му об'їздили більше 30ти литовських шкіл з показами нашої короткометражки "Mother" (''30th Day of War''). Покази були непростими, враховуючи подекуди несприятливе ставлення (не тільки учнів) Україні та тотальне нерозуміння того, що в нас відбувається вже другий рік. Тому важливо фільм не просто показувати, а говорити про нього, пояснювати, інколи запекло сперечатися. Ніхто не давав гарантій що творчість окремої людини має всім автоматично подобатись і сприйматися однаково. В цьому контексті я задоволений своєю авантюрою знімати ігровий сюжет по гарячих слідах. Фильм, окрім нагадування про жахи війни, ще й лишиться певним свідченням подій та поточного стану команди тієї вже далекої весни 2022-го. Всім ще раз дякую і викладаю фільм у вільний достіп. Час йому жити своїм життям!
