"PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WHEN HAVING HYPERTENSION: YES OR NO?
I want to dispel all the doubts and say that physical activity when having hypertension is necessary. Being physically active is important for everyone, while a sedentary lifestyle is strictly contraindicated for people with hypertension. The main thing is to avoid excessive overstrain of the body and monitor the state of health during training.
Age of patients and stage of hypertension illness play an important role when choosing the type of physical activity. Elderly people with stage 3 hypertension are not recommended to do sports in order to avoid the development of hypertonic crisis because of physical activities, while its better for them to engage in breathing techniques.
For those who have stages 1 and 2 hypertension, the following physical activities are suitable:
- swimming and aqua-aerobics
- yoga
- respiratory gymnastics
- running at a moderate pace
- race walking
- sports dance
And most importantly, remember, you will see significant progress in a month only by taking care of your health with all responsibility.
Do you exercise? Let us know in the comments.
P.S. Hypertension is a disease that obliges you not only to monitor your physical activity, but also to follow a diet, which I will tell more about in the next post."
