"Yandex finally fulfilled one of the most popular user requests and allowed "Stations" to be controlled through the app without voice commands. Now you don't have to shout over the music playing in order to switch tracks, give likes, or adjust the volume.

Speaker control was added in the latest update of "Yandex.Music". "Station" is selected on the playback screen in the upper right corner, and if there is more than one, you can switch.

Since the connection is not implemented via Bluetooth, playback will not be interrupted in the event of a call or notification. "Station" and the smartphone must be in the same Wi-Fi network, and the speaker itself must be used with the same profile as the app.

Now you can manage all "Stations": Basic, Station Mini, Station Lite and Station Max. In the future, Yandex promised to expand the list of features and think about supporting smart speakers with "Alice" from third-party manufacturers.

Xiaomi introduced smart glasses with the unsophisticated name Smart Glasses. They can show notifications and navigation right in front of your eyes, translate texts and foreign speech in real time, as well as make calls and take pictures.

The glasses weigh just 51 grams, and look just like regular glasses. Engineers have put monochrome MicroLED backlit displays in the lenses, with peak brightness of up to two million nits. Xiaomi says the picture is perfectly visible even in direct sunlight.

There are dual microphones with a speaker for making calls and interacting with the voice assistant, and a 5-megapixel camera near the wishbone on the left side for taking photos. The glasses run Android and have an unnamed quad-core processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The company has not announced more details about the specifications, price and release date. It is possible that Xiaomi Smart Glasses so far represent only a concept, rather than a real device.
