Devotion: GROW TO GREAT FAITH

Romans 12 : 3 " For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH."

The moment you come to Christ, Faith is accredited to your account. The measure of faith is given to each one. Same measure is given to every believer as a starter pack.

When Faith is given, it's little faith that needs to grow and get the results. You start with little faith and its your responsibility to grow it. Little faith can't keep you in the day of adversity or distress. Proverbs 24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

Little faith makes you still live in fear even though you are a believer. Matthew 8 : 26 " He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?..."

Little faith makes you still have some doubts. Matthew 14 : 31 ...... "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

When little Faith grows, it becomes great Faith. Luke 7 : 9 " When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such GREAT FAITH even in Israel.".

Great Faith is for greater accomplishments. Great faith is for great achievements. Great faith keeps you even in the day of adversity. Therefore, grow your faith from little to great. We grow faith by hearing the word of God. Romans 10:17" Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Study and meditate the word. Meditate the Word, grow your faith and you will be an all round success (Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:2-3). Listen to faith filled messages. Listen to faith filled testimonies of others. All these will grow your faith.

My Faith is growing everyday as I study the Word. I am making great strides in my walk of Faith. I will never be disadvantaged. I am a success in Jesus Name. Amen

The man in the picture is Bornface Ngoma, who resides in Kauma, Lilongwe. Bornface Ngomangoma operates a motorcycle kabaza business and, a few days ago, posted in a business group advertising one of his motorcycles for sale.

Yesterday, he received a phone call from individuals claiming to be from Area 24, expressing interest in purchasing the motorcycle. After discussing the matter, the parties agreed that the buyers would come and inspect the bike. Mr. Ngoma later shared his location with them, and the individuals eventually arrived at his house.

According to reports, the men inspected the motorcycle and told Mr. Ngoma that they were satisfied with it. They then paid him K500,000 as part payment and informed him that they would proceed together to Area 24 to collect the remaining balance.

Three people then left together on the motorcycle. However, it is alleged that shortly after passing Villa and approaching the Kamuzu Barracks gate, the suspects sprayed pepper into Mr. Ngoma’s eyes, causing him to fall to the ground.

The two men then sped away with the motorcycle and disappeared.

At the time of writing this, Mr. Ngoma is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
