Mozambican Woman Destroys Her Own Salon After Being Told to Leave
A dramatic incident happened at a beauty salon in eMthonjaneni, South Africa. A Mozambican woman who owned the salon smashed her own equipment after she was allegedly told to leave the business.
The woman said she would rather destroy everything than hand the salon over to someone else. A video shared by Inakho Production shows her pulling down posters, dragging equipment across the floor, and breaking mirrors on the ground.
A crowd gathered outside to watch as it happened. Reports say the trouble started when a South African business group allegedly demanded that she leave the salon so another operator could take over.
In the video, a man tells her: "We're not here to play games. Take your things and give us the keys."
She responded strongly, saying she would rather leave with nothing than give it up. She also said if they wanted to kill her, they should come with a gun and shoot her.
A representative of the business group later spoke to Inakho Production. He claimed they asked her to leave because a South African wanted to run the salon instead, to protect local workers and clients. He said she was invited to negotiate a price for handing over the business.
According to him, she asked for R100,000. The group then allegedly inspected the equipment and valued it at only R10,000 — the amount the new prospective owner offered to pay. He claims it was at that point that she began destroying the salon.
