Local Bulletin.

A 35 year old mother of three, only identied as Noki of Aluga village, Abonegepac parish in Abim sub county, Abim District allegedly went on a drinking spree with her Two month old baby at Arembwola trading center, till night hours and upon returning home heavily drunk, Noki laid on her own child, killing her instantly.
Some neighbors who spoke to Karibu FM said that they heard Noki crying in the early hours of Monday morning and when they intervened, they got a lifeless baby with it's mother beside it.
The deceased child was buries yesterday afternoon amidst mixed reactions from mouners, with some mourners calling for action against Noki while others are sympathizing with the woman.
Noki however, apologized to the mourners and said that she drinks because her husband disappeared from home for the last 4 years and she's stressed about life. She promised that such incident won't repeat itself again.
