" 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘_𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄"
The pain that the people of South Sudan — especially the Nuer community — are carrying is beyond words. It is not just pain; it is a wound that bleeds every day, a sorrow that darkens the sky even in daylight.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit has turned his power into a weapon — a tool to destroy, to erase, and to silence the Nuer people. Vice President Bol Mel has stood not for peace, but deepened the suffering. They brought in the Ugandan Defense Forces, who rained fire upon innocent homes. The Defense Forces of South Sudan have become a nightmare to their own citizens.
𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐫. 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐤.
These places bleed daily under the weight of bombs, fire, and fear. Yet the world remains quiet. And while this horror continues, some still wave flags and talk of independence — as if blood has no voice.
But what independence is this, when children are burned in their homes and mothers cry in the ashes of what used to be kitchens?
What nation celebrates freedom while erasing its own people?
This is not independence.
This is a shame dressed in colors.
This is betrayal, not celebration.
Until justice is done, until peace returns to every village, and until every tear is answered — there is no true independence to celebrate.
