Araka football club are in danger of being booted out the West Nile regional League amid huge financial problems.
In a shocking News Westnile regional side ,Araka football club are administratively devastating with a huge financial crisis and are set to pen a formal letter to the Westnile football Association for withdrawal from participating in the regional games.
The club owner has put up the club on sale as he finds it hard to run the club in the New Format applied in Uganda in 3rd division league setups across all the eight football Associations under FUFA in the country, the source also confirmed if no take over is found the club will boycott the matches in the ongoing Westnile regional league due to its logistical hardships.
Araka has been a pillar of stability and success in Westnile football for decades and consistently competing in Westnile regional League upto now.
However, years of overspending, risky investments, and dwindling revenue saw their debts soar the Club .
The club Administration is failing to present a credible plan and provide a guaranteed budget to meet 2025/2026 Westnile regional logitical expenses.
For a club with good history and loyal fanbase, the fall is going to be more than symbolic sign but also shows how no club is immune to financial sustainability and governance.
So Far two Matches have been played yet in the Westnile regional league with Araka hosting all the opening 2 matches at home and they set 10th on the red zone out of the 12th team log for starters three teams will be regelated from the Westnile regional league.
