Issued by: SABIRI RAMADHAN

Director β SABIRIRAMA GLOBAL VENTURES LTD, Uganda
I, SABIRI RAMADHAN, CEO of SARARIGHTS TV and Director of SABIRIRAMA GLOBAL VENTURES LTD, wish to express my sincere appreciation to H.E. General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda and National Chairman of the NRM, the Government of Uganda and all stakeholders for the restoration, recognition and continued support of Uganda's traditional and cultural institutions.
The restoration of traditional institutions following their abolition in 1967 represented an important development in the preservation of Uganda's cultural heritage, history and identity.
Uganda's cultural landscape includes institutions associated with Buganda, Toro, Bunyoro, Busoga, Alur, Ankole, Iteso/Ateker, Lugbara Kari and other communities.
SARARIGHTS TV recognises the importance of preserving these traditions while maintaining Uganda's national unity, sovereignty and constitutional governance.
We further acknowledge the various forms of Government support extended to traditional institutions, including infrastructure, logistical, security and other forms of assistance.
CONDOLENCES TO TORO KINGDOM
We also express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of Toro Kingdom and all Ugandans following the passing of H.H. Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
At this time of mourning, we stand with the people of Toro and pray for comfort and strength for all those affected by the loss.
We appreciate the national recognition and State Burial arrangements accorded to the late Omukama, as referenced in this statement.
We further encourage the development of consistent national protocols through which reigning traditional leaders can be accorded appropriate dignity and recognition when they pass away.
A PERSONAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
As a Ugandan citizen, I openly acknowledge that my views about President Museveni's leadership have evolved over time.
I have previously questioned aspects of his leadership methodology and ideology. However, after considerable personal reflection and analysis, I have come to appreciate aspects of his leadership, particularly the role played in restoring and supporting traditional institutions within Uganda's national framework.
This statement should not be interpreted as saying that Government has no shortcomings or that constructive criticism is unnecessary.
Rather, it is an acknowledgement that where we believe an institution, policy or decision has benefited Uganda, we should be willing to recognise it.
Our cultural institutions preserve our history.
Our Constitution unites us as one nation.
Our diversity makes Uganda unique.
And our shared patriotism gives us a common future.
SARARIGHTS TV therefore calls upon all Ugandans to protect our cultural heritage, respect our traditional leaders, uphold national unity and contribute positively to the development of our country.
Uganda is one nation, rich in cultures and united in destiny.
FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.
