Hello love shade. I've always wanted to marry a Moslem man after my first marriage failed and now God has brought to me this man who is a teacher. We have been deeply in love since February and I like the fact that he’s a very open guy, he told me he has 2 children with 2 different mothers but the marriages failed though they still communicate frequently. He also told me about his other girlfriends but he said the relationships are not serious and that it’s me he wants to settle with. He has actually introduced me to his family members, which makes me believe he is serious. He doesn't miss telling me anything about those girls, recently one of them sent him transport to go to her but he sent it back and asked me to warn her using his phone never to disturb him again. I don’t know if I should really trust him, thanks.

Hello love shade! I need some piece of advice. There’s a guys who is following me up but I’m worried he is an Mc, most times he is hosting events, he mc’s in the clubs, in fact he is so exposed and with that I find it hard to trust him with my heart though I like him, he Is a cool guy, very handsome but I fear serving heart breaks. Hello love shade! I need some piece of advice. I broke up with my boyfriend who is a UPDF soldier and he is threatening me that he will do the worst if I dare find another man over him. I tried reporting the case at police but because of his position I’m being ignored. Now I don’t know what to do because I can’t continue dating a person I no longer love and the reason I lost the love for him is he is so arrogant. What can I do?

Hello love shade! I grew up with my Aunt as an orphan, but she treated me harshly. I went through a lot of mistreatment, as if I were her step son. Yet she’s my father’s biological sister. Her husband was very rich but each time I asked her for support she would talk a lot, sometimes she would say I should go and ask my late mother. Whenever I would get sick it’s my neighbors who would help me with some tablets, because she would say I’m pretending just to dodge work. What would hurt me most is whenever they cooked meat; it would be for them and the children for me I would cook beans for myself. Up to now I don’t understand why my Aunt treated me that way. I could not hold it anymore so I decided to relocate to my maternal uncle who received me well though he never had money but he gave me a piece of land for Agriculture. God helped me, from Agriculture I was able to pay myself at school and even graduated, I got a good paying job and for my Aunt, she was divorced and now living a miserable life. She now wants me to give her capital but my past experience with her affects me so much that I feel like not helping her at all. Does such a person deserve help?

LETTER OF THE DAY 19TH MAY 2026

Hello Love Shade, I need some advice. Ever since I married my wife, my in-laws have been frequent visitors at our home. At times, they stay for longer than expected, and I find my privacy being intruded upon. In addition, they often burden me with their personal problems. For example, her father borrowed 300k from me but has not repaid it, and he continues to call asking for more help. Her mother also calls me regularly with requests. I’m fade up of this but I know if I share with my wife she will take it personal and at the end they will say I don’t like my in-laws.
