Dear fellow Africansโœ‹๐Ÿผโœ‹๐Ÿผโœ‹๐Ÿผโœ‹๐Ÿผโœ‹๐Ÿผ๐Ÿฅน
Today I remind you that our unity is the greatest strength we have to overcome the challenges facing Africa.

Although we are rich in natural resources and have a strong, energetic youth, we cannot achieve sustainable development without putting unity first.
Division, conflict, and short-term interests weaken us and slow our progress.

It is time to come together, work as one people, and build a peaceful and prosperous Africa.
Unity is the foundation of lasting peace, and cooperation is the pillar of sustainable development.

When we stand together, we can overcome any challenge before us.
I therefore urge all Africans to place unity above all else and avoid anything that may divide us. Together, we have the power to build a brighter future for our continent.

In life, it is IMPORTANT to always listen to both sides of the story. You should not be too QUICK TO JUDGE based on what one party has to say. It is only FAIR and wise to give people a chance to explain themselves.

Sometimes we end up cutting off GOOD PEOPLE and keeping bad ones because we did not take the time to LISTEN to both sides of the story. Also, we sometimes end up making wrong DECISIONS because we choose to get ADVICE from only a few of our favorite people.

When you listen to both sides, you can fairly judge who to praise, ASSOCIATE with or give an OPPORTUNITY. in life.

Youth Are Today's Peacebuilders

Peace is cultivated within communities, through conversations, and in the courage of young people who choose unity over division.

As the world grapples with escalating social, economic, and environmental challenges, one truth remains clear:

Youth are the strongest force for sustainable peace.

Peacebuilding extends beyond merely ending conflict; it encompasses:

- Promoting inclusion
- Advocating for justice
- Bridging digital and social divides
- Leading community-driven solutions

As young leaders, we must reflect on our roles:

Are we passive observers or active architects of peace?

Here are ways youth can take action today:

1. Start conversations that unite, not divide.
2. Use digital platforms to amplify positive narratives.
3. Engage in community dialogue and volunteerism.
4. Hold leaders accountable while modeling integrity.

Sustainable peace begins with intentional action, and that responsibility lies with us.

Letโ€™s lead, act, and build peace that lasts.

__________
Islam is not judged by our speeches, our titles, or the words we quote. Islam is judged by Muslims and non-Muslims alike through our actions, our character, and our daily behavior. What we live speaks louder than what we say.

Many people can speak beautifully about Islam. They can quote Qurโ€™an, mention Hadith, and advise others. But if their manners contradict their words if they lie, cheat, oppress, or behave harshly then their actions distort the image of Islam, even if their words are correct.

Allah did not send Islam only to be spoken; He sent it to be lived.
The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ was not described as โ€œa man who spoke Islam,โ€ but as โ€œthe Qurโ€™an walking on the earth.โ€ His honesty, mercy, patience, and justice were the strongest form of Daโ€˜wah. People accepted Islam not only because of his message, but because of his character.

Allah says:
โ€œIndeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 33:21)

Every Muslim, whether they realize it or not, is an ambassador of Islam. The way you speak to your family, deal in business, respond in anger, keep your promises, and treat the weak all of these either invite people to Islam or push them away from it.

A smile, honesty in trade, patience in hardship, and mercy in disagreement can preach Islam without a single word. Likewise, bad character can damage Islamโ€™s image more than any enemy ever could.

This quote reminds us that Islam begins inside the heart and appears through action. If Islam does not improve our manners, soften our hearts, and correct our behavior, then we must ask ourselves whether we are carrying Islam or Islam is carrying us.

So before we correct others with our tongues, we must correct ourselves with our actions. Because the strongest Daโ€˜wah is not spoken it is lived.

One day, you will thank Allah for the doors He closed. You will be grateful that certain things didnโ€™t work out, because Allahโ€™s plans are far greater than our wishes. What He chooses for us is always better.

Today Let's talk about WEALTH CREATION:

The NRM has over the years introduced programmes aimed at improving the livelihoods of Ugandans. We started with Entandikwa, Prosperity for all, Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Youth and Women Funds etc. All these are aimed at helping Ugandans get out of poverty. Recently, we introduced Emyooga and Parish Development Model (PDM), Under these programmes, our aim is to ensure that every Ugandan is in the money economy either as a producer or a worker offering labor.

IN THE NEXT KISANJA NRM WILL:

1. Reach the remaining Households that have not yet benefited from PDM. The youth are entitled to 30% of PDM funds. So, the youth leaders should always follow up on this. In Kampala and Wakiso, we will increase the PDM funds to 300m/ per Parish. With the 30% going to the youth, the youth in Kampala and Wakiso will be getting 100m/ in every Parish. Therefore, on PDM, if we have not yet reached you, in the next kisanja, we shall reach you.

2. Add on Shs. 15 million per Parish annually for the political leaders.

3. Create a special fund for fishing communities.

4. Create a fund for university leavers who have not obtained jobs two years after graduation to start businesses. This fund will be extended to Diploma and Certificate holders.

5. For the graduates of the Presidential Hubs, we have started for them a SACCO in every District.

6. Continue funding for Emyooga (which have been getting Shs. 100 billion annually) but reorganize them all to ensure that the funds reach the right people. We shall send funds directly to the beneficiaries like we are doing with PDM. We shall also support other groups in their SACCOs. These may include private security guards, workers in the factories, etc.

7. Continue to capitalise UDB to provide affordable capital to those in manufacturing. We will also continue with the Agricultural Credit Fund (ACF) for investment in value addition to our agricultural products.

8. Provide interest free loans to large scale farmers, through Government Banks. These are: Post Bank, Housing Finance Bank and Pride Bank.

9. Invest more in irrigation for group irrigation schemes. At individual farms, our policy will be cost sharing between Government and the individual farmer.

10. Create a fertilizer fund where farmers can borrow at a low interest rate for purchase of fertilizers. This will help boost agriculture production.

IT'S ONLY NRM THAT HAVE THESE WEALTH CREATION PROGRAMS.

THEREFORE, VOTING FOR THE OLD MAN WITH A HAT MEANS VOTING FOR PROSPERITY FOR ALL.

What Gains are we protecting?

Today let's talk about LAND ISSUES:

NRM under the 1995 Constitution gave land to the people. This was done through restoring Mailo land, free hold, Lease hold and Customary ownership However. there have been complaints on land issues called land grabbing

In order to secure the Citizens' land Rights, especially those with and without Titles, the NRM has introduced the following

1. The government started issuing Certificates of Customary Ownership (CCOs) under the customary tenure system. This involves mobilization, sensitization, surveying and issuance of Certificates of Ownership at a subsidised fee of Shs. 10,000 irrespective of the size of land The CCD is issued by a Records at Sub-County/Town Council and in the case of a City, it is at the Division level So far, 103,000 certificates have been issued in the districts of Kasese, Nwoya, Pader, Butaleja, Adjumani, Kisoro, Kabale, Mbale and Mbale City, Agago, Apac, Maracha, Soroti, Katakwi, Kalaki, Dokolo, Amolstar, Terego, Gulu, Koboko, Moroto, Amudat, Kaabong, Nabliatuk, Nakapiripirit and Namutumba.

2. The Systematic Land Adjudication and Certification (SLAAC) to issue freehold titles to sitting customary owners under the freehold tenare system. This involves mobilization, sensitization, surveying and issuance of land titles to the owners at a subsidized fee of Sha. 85,000 irrespective of the size of land This is issued by the Registrar of Titles. Under this programme, we have processed and issued 24,000 tities to beneficiaries in Kiruhura, Ibanda, Rwampara, Kaabong and Oyam and the City of Mbarara.

__________
Before speaking about anyone, Islam teaches us to first seek the truth, verify what we hear, and guard our tongues from causing harm. Our words can build or destroy, unite or divide โ€” and on this blessed day of Jumuโ€™ah, we are reminded to choose truth, justice, and sincerity.

๐Ÿ”น Allah Most High says:
โ€œO you who believe! If a sinful person brings you news, verify it, lest you harm people unknowingly and become regretful for what you have done.โ€
โ€” Qurโ€™an 49:6

This verse reminds us that spreading unverified information is not just a mistake โ€” it can lead to injustice, broken relationships, and deep regret.

๐Ÿ”น Allah also warns us:
โ€œDo not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight, and the heart โ€” all of these will be questioned.โ€
โ€” Qurโ€™an 17:36

Every rumor we share, every assumption we repeat, and every word we utter will be presented before Allah on the Day of Judgment.

๐Ÿ”น Rasulullah ๏ทบ said:
โ€œWhoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.โ€
โ€” Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

And he ๏ทบ also said:
โ€œIt is enough of a lie for a person to repeat everything he hears.โ€
โ€” Sahih Muslim

Reflection for Jumuโ€™ah:
Before you speak, pause.
Before you judge, verify.
Before you repeat, ask yourself: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it beneficial?

Protecting someoneโ€™s honor is an act of worship, and guarding your tongue is a pathway to Jannah.

May Allah purify our hearts, guide our speech, and make our tongues instruments of truth, peace, and goodness.

Jumuโ€™ah Mubarak! ๐Ÿคฒ

Real leadership is not about titles, applause, or being seen.
It is about making courageous decisions that transform lives โ€” even for people who may never know your name, never meet you, and never realize the sacrifices you made on their behalf.

True leaders plant seeds of progress, justice, and compassion in silence, trusting that Allah rewards every sincere effort done for the good of humanity.

Start this week with purpose. Lead with integrity. Serve with humility. Make choices today that will uplift generations tomorrow.
