Makerere Insists On Holding Exams Despite Museveni Orders
The university has insisted on continuing to hold exams for final year students despite the presidential directive suspending school activities.
According to Makerere university vice- chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe, the final year students had already started their final examinations by the time of the presidential declaration and students are expected to return home immediately after their last paper.
Examinations at makerere for final year students have been running since may 24.
However, Continuing students who were to start their exams by Monday 7 had their examinations rescheduled. Of which most said the 42 days lockdown is frustrating.
