An Individual Choice to Be Made

In childhood and youth you may have an experience in the service of God. Do the things that you know to be right. Be obedient to your parents. Listen to their counsels; for if they love and fear God, upon them will be laid the responsibility of educating, disciplining, and training your soul for the immortal life. Thankfully receive the help they want to give you, and make their hearts glad by cheerfully submitting yourselves to the dictates of their wiser judgments. In this way you will honor your parents, glorify God, and become a blessing to those with whom you associate.

PILGRIMAGES & PRAYING TO THE MARTYRS @ THE SHRINE, A FALSE DOCTRINE & WASTAGE OF TIME!!

KJV Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Acts 7:41, Ephesians 5:11 - we are warned to have no fellowship with works of darkness.

1. Who is a SAINT?? - The word Saint refers to most holy thing, and in the bible, it is used to refer to Christian believers. In Acts 9:13- Annanias refers to a group of believers in Jerusalem who had been persecuted by Saul as saints. In 1 Corinthians 1:2- the apostle greets fellow believers as Saints. Eph 5:3.
in bible are the dead referred to as saints, it's only used to refer to the living.
saints are not some special group wc is to be set apart by a church like Catholics do. In otherwards YOU & ME are SAINTS as long as we believe Christ & live according to His will.

2. Who is a martyr?? - Is a person persecuted for Christ's sake, who refuses to give up his faith in Christ & is persecuted to death. Revelation 2:13, Acts 7:54-57, 1Thes 2:15.

3. Whom do we pray to? The Dead, Martyrs,?? pray Only to the Living God - Exodus 20:3-4, Revelation 14:7, no one else! John 16:26 -Jesus told us to pray to His Father thru Him for anything we want. So praying to anyone, dead or alive is abominable to God.

4. Is moving these long distances of any spiritual value?? It's of no spiritual benefit, these are works of the flesh which are of no avail. - we are saved by God's grace not by our works/merits (Titus 3:5,) To make matters worse, the motive(praying to martyrs) is evil.

5. Praying to the DEAD is anti-biblical and spiritualism/evil. - The dead know nothing, have no power, are dead in their Graves awaiting for Christ’s second coming.-Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 ,1Corinthians 15:52-55.
: Praying to the Martyrs, saints is anti-biblical, it's man's(Pope) tradition not God's way, teaching.
