The FDC manifesto is the only commitment that can remove ugandans from poverty,the FDC presidential flag bearer Nathan Nandala Mafabi has declared.
He said this while addressing FDC supporters at Apac district this afternoon.
Nandala said ugandans have suffered with a lot of themed programs for the last forty years but no Ugandan has become rich.
He said the likes of Entandikwa Kulembeka,bona bagagawale, prosperity for all,NAADS, operation wealth Creation,Parish Development Model and many more have all failed to save Ugandans from poverty.
Nandala said his government is set to free ugandans from poverty if elected to implement its manifesto.
He said they plan to give a grant of 100 million shillings to every village every final year and hence 500 millions throughout the five years.
He also said the FDC plans to save youths from suffering through creation of jobs.
He said about ten percent of the National budget will be put into agriculture, and insurance will be made for Farmers who grow crops and they are destroyed by nature.
Nandala also said the FDC will revive all cooperative unions to help in marketing of cash crops like coffee, cotton and to***co to help ugandans get a better bargain for their products.
He also promised to revive the cooperative Bank and the Agricultural Bank to help farmers and business men access quick funds to run their projects and grow.
He also said he will ensure all teachers are paid equally and all to get incentives like having free education for their children from primary to university to do their work thoroughly without interruptions.
He also promised good pay for health workers .
He also said his government plans to fund all small businesses so as to help them grow.
Nandala is also set to pay all war claims in both north and West Nile regions as per the court ruling.
He is also set to allow the fishing community that was sent off the water bodies in Uganda back to their business because it's where they can earn a better living.
Nandala also said his government will pay the elderly if 65years 60,000 shillings every month until they die.
He also requested ugandans to vote him into power so as to have a new beginning, Nandala said that what president museveni has not done in the last forty years, he cannot do in five years.
Nandala spent most of the day combing the vast areas of Apac district in the Lango region.
